I am so excited to write this review for The John Daylor Team with Joyner Fine Properties. I don’t want it to be just another review, I want it to be “the review” that stops you in your tracks and assures you that if you are looking for a realtor to sell your home or property John Daylor is the real estate agent to call and if you are interested in purchasing a home or property Chris Daylor-Waller is the buyer’s agent you definitely want to assist you! When we first met John, we were buying a home in the Richmond area and he was representing the sellers. Years later when we were selling that same home we immediately contacted John to be our listing agent. We were extremely impress by his integrity and vast knowledge of the area. He sold our home within the first week listed. Recently my husband and I purchased a home in the Manakin Sabot area while living out of state 10 hours away. We expected the distance to make it especially difficult and for it to be a daunting task until we spoke on the phone with Chris Daylor-Waller. Through numerous phone calls and emails she guided us through the entire purchasing process from negotiations and contracts to recommendations for inspectors and contractors. She even made the phone calls lining up appointments necessary, followed through on the results and reports, and made what we had expected to be a difficult out of state purchase seamless for us. As I said earlier we had never met Chris face-to-face but her real estate expertise, professionalism and genuine concern for us was apparent from our first conversation. Chris helped me purchase my first home this year (and during the pandemic). She was professional and happily walked me through every (silly) question I asked since I was 26 and inexperienced! She was incredibly knowledgeable in all areas of Richmond and knew exactly where I would fit in. She was constantly sending me options of houses I was interested in and made the process SO easy! There were some unforeseen hiccups after I moved in, and both Chris and John jumped right in to resolve the issues. I would never expect an agent to keep so in-touch with me 6 months after the purchase, but they DID! And for that I am so appreciative. Would recommend Chris to anyone. Her and John have gone above and beyond for me and my little home.

Chris did a great job with my recent condo purchase. I got the condo I wanted for less than I expected. The whole process went smoothly with no issues.

We were moving from out of state back to Richmond, and Chris Daylor-Waller was our agent. She could not have made the process easier - in the midst of all of the unknowns at the beginning of the pandemic. We liked a house in a certain neighborhood that we looked at on our own at an open house, but someone else beat us to putting in an offer. Chris went the extra mile to put out feelers about other houses coming on the market in that neighborhood. We ended up buying a house in that perfect neighborhood we loved without it ever being listed, thanks to Chris! The inspection was a tricky one, with lots of items listed on the 25 year old home. It required A LOT of negotiating, which Chris handled with ease. We could not have appreciated all of her efforts more - as we were in the middle of trying to sell our out of state house- again in the midst of a pandemic. We had a lot on our plate. It was made simpler by Chris' attention to detail, and expertise of negotiating inspection issues. She called me almost daily with updates, so I never felt out of the loop. She took it upon herself to make sure that inspection repairs happened, and to her satisfaction. There were many times she'd call a business for an opinion on an issue, for example, and then tell us about it later.She ALWAYS went the extra mile. She was amazing. Chris is DEFINITELY there on the buyers behalf. I would not purchase another home in Richmond without using Chris Daylor-Waller.
